    Product Regulatory Manager, Consumer Products


    Manage the entire Product Registration including, being the primary contact with all certification entities, regulatory agencies (including customs) and independent laboratories including, but not limited to: WQA, NSF, IAPMO and UL.

    Additionally, this role will be responsible for obtaining the necessary product registrations and certifications to enable worldwide sales of the company's product line of drinking water and water treatment solutions for everyday consumers.

    Act as a business partner to develop, grow and strengthen this segment within our Consumer Products division.

    Specific Job Function:
    Manage the end-to-end certification process, including coordinating with internal stakeholders (product development, engineering) and external certification bodies (WQA, NSF, IAPMO, UL, and International Entities) to ensure timely and successful certification outcomes
    Develop relationships with customs bodies to build knowledge and insight into moving consumer goods across land and sea borders. Build best practices and insights for the broader organization.
    Assemble specific data and prepare product certification applications, supporting documentation, and physical samples for submission to independent testing laboratories
    Prepare, submit and establish a record system for registration applications to state or country agencies to obtain appropriate product registrations for the company globally
    Develop regulatory timelines and cost estimates for new product development projects and recertification projects, and ensure they are delivered on time and on budget
    Work with Product Management, Marketing, and other functions to understand commercial timelines and requirements to introduce new products and assure continued compliance with existing product lines
    Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and industry peers to stay up to date on industry trends and developments
    Continually evaluate and improve the certification process to reduce overall cost and speed to market, incorporating feedback from internal and external stakeholders to ensure that it remains effective and efficient over time
    Evaluate potential new company acquisitions for compliance and risk exposure
    Record technical and marketing specifications and ensure all products and processes adhere to them during development and production
    Collaborate with the legal and engineering teams to oversee the process of submitting, executing and internal filings for intellectual property (IP)

    Job Requirements:
    BS Degree in Science, Engineering, or related field
    7-10 years experience with US and international product registration/regulatory affairs
    Water treatment industry and experience working with WQA, NSF, IAPMO and UL
    Understanding and experience with consumer products sold through retail channels
    Solid understanding of regulatory process and workings of government agencies in NA and EMEA (China a plus)
    Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines across multiple brands or businesses
    CWS certification through WQA is a plus
    Some travel is required, up to 10%
