- Develop and manage the College's budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility and alignment with strategic goals. In doing so, implement cost-effective strategies to maximize financial resources and achieve sustainable growth. Work collaboratively with college leadership to grow revenue streams, coordinating synergies among courses and programs. Lead the college's fundraising activities, cultivating relationships with donors, alumni, and community partners. Develop and execute fundraising strategies to secure philanthropic support for the College's programs and initiatives.
- Oversee academic program and practicum delivery in the CHW by collaborating with the Dean and four associate deans as they supervise faculty and staff, implementing best pedagogical practices to enhance the academic experiences and outcomes for all students.
- Oversee accreditation, assessment, and other quality indicators for all academic and non-academic activities that take place in the College. Maintain general administrative responsibility and oversight for the College, including, marketing and enrollment, interdisciplinary initiatives, and the effective management of its administrative affairs.
- Collaborates with Admissions to develop and implement strategies to enhance enrollment and retention. Analyze enrollment data to identify trends, implement targeted recruitment efforts, and optimize student success. Monitors and evaluates student academic performance, implementing interventions and support services as needed. Collaborates with faculty to enhance teaching methodologies, assessment practices, and student engagement.
- Master's degree in health related discipline. Doctoral degree in health related discipline housed within the college is preferred.

Summary Reporting directly to the provost, the Executive Dean provides visionary leadership to the university's largest academic unit dedicated to preparing healthcare professionals, setting strategic goals and priorities aligned with the university's mission. The Executive Dean oversees the viability, quality, budgeting, and operation of the College of Health and Wellness, which consists of one school (School of Nursing) and four departments (Health Promotion & Clinical Practice; Health Sciences; Social Work; Counseling & School Psychology). Collaborating with the Dean of the School of Nursing and four Associate Deans, the Executive Dean creates synergies and fosters a culture of excellence, innovation, and inclusivity among faculty, staff, and students. The Executive Dean also oversees the operation of the CARE Center (practicum site for Counseling, School Psychology students), college fundraising and university-level initiatives pertaining to expansion of academic health programs, interprofessional collaboration initiatives and simulation, and agreements with health-care organizations and institutions of higher education.
