- Two years experience in Radiation Dosimetry
- Radiation Oncology Technologist, registered with the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), possessing a one-year certificate in an approved program of dosimetry
- Equivalent on the job training under a medical radiation physicist Classified as a CMD (Certified Medical Dosimetrist), or must obtain certification within three years of hire Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or obtains within 90 days

Summary:
Functions under the direction of the Medical Oncologist, Chief Physicist, and Chief Dosimetrist when applicable. Prepares and manages daily dose calculations for all patients. Assists the Radiation Oncology Staff in teletherapy and brachytherapy treatment planning, and the treatment delivery process. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
