    Title:

    Construction Project ManagerLocation: Millersville, Maryland (must be within commutable distance)Irving Knight Group is partnered with an industry leading general contractor and design builder who operates across the US looking to add a Project Manager to their Millersville office.

    You will be responsible for project success including, profitability, safety, quality, schedule, and customer satisfaction.

    You will be responsible for your own projects, coordinating and leading their respective project teams (Superintendents, Assistant Project Managers/Engineers, Project Administrators, Project Accountants) in a professional manner.


    Responsibilities:
    Pre-Construction and Schedule Management
    • Conduct regular reviews of schematic design drawings, design development drawings and construction documents and design milestones throughout the design process to ensure project design coincides with project outline specifications, project schedule and budget.

    Relationship Management
    • Act as the lead construction representative on each project working with design team, owners, and subcontractors.

    Change Order Management
    • Evaluate Subcontractor Change Orders (SCOs) and be responsible for the process to write SCOs and distribute SCOs to the subcontractorFinancial Management
    • Review and Approve payment applications and change order requests with accounting and coordinate payment applications to be completed and sent to Owner according to timelines in Owner contract.

    Required Experience and EducationMinimum of 5 years experience managing projects ranging from $5M $30M (+) contracts in commercial, and/or industrial construction environments.

    Project management experience on data centers is highly preferential.


    Desired Computer Applications Experience:
    Microsoft Office Applications
    • Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CMIC, Bluebeam and Microsoft Project.
    BS/BA in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field or equivalent in work experience.
    Knowledge of basic building design and construction systems.
    Knowledge of construction estimating and procurement processes.
    Extensive knowledge of scheduling, cost control and safety procedures.#J-18808-Ljbffr
