Business AnalystDuration: 18+ monthsLocation: Torrance, CA (Hybrid 1xweek on-site)

Contract:
Only W2, No Corp to Corp candidatesSeeking an experienced System Analyst to work on one or more Application Development project as a key project member for the Automobile Sales and Logistics teams

Duties include:
Work closely with IT and business teams to gather complex business requirements, interdependencies, potential risks and issues.
Analyze business operations data and processes to formulate solutions to a business problem.

Elicit requirements from business with probing questions and suggestions to assist them in the understanding of their needs and translate them into application requirements.

Create functional design specifications, business process documentations and workflows, test cases and test scripts for medium to large projects.
Coordinate the testing process between the business and IT.Execute test cases and capture results.
Assist project manager(s) as needed and coach less experienced staff.


Position Success Criteria:
Automotive Experience in Ordering, Logistics and Sales Business processes.
Excellent communications skills both written and oral.
Experience with relational databases like DB2, MS SQL Server.


Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite:
MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Visio.
Experience with SAFe Agile methodology.
Experience with large complex application development projects.
Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience.
