Any employer in the Houston, TX area is seeking a Chemical Engineer to join their team.

This group is currently responsible for the development of chemical products and processes for the oil and gas company in accordance with the company's sustainability initiatives.

The Chemical Engineer will be responsible for the analysis design and development of chemical products by building prototypes, conducting technical reviews, implementing testing, and developing solutions for lab testing and validation.

This person should have a strong understanding of wellbore geomechanics and wellbore stability to be able to accurately assess rock and fluid interaction.

Background focused in rock and fluid interactions

Must come from an oil & gas background if not a PhD
3-5 years of experience in Petroleum or Chemical Engineering

Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Chemical Engineering or related field

Knowledge of drilling, rock, and tractions

Experience with Wellbore geomechanics/chemistry and a strong understanding of Wellbore stability

Experience with reliability equipment in a lab environment
