    We are currently searching for a skilled and motivated professional to join our team in Private Client Services.

    Our team specializes in serving individual, estate/trust, and closely held business clients. Join us in delivering top-notch tax compliance and consulting services to help clients minimize taxes and maximize growth.

    With locations in various states like Minnesota (Eden Prairie, Minneapolis, Mankato), Florida (Naples), and a remote team across 20+ states, Boulay provides a diverse work environment that gives you the freedom to work where and how you prefer.     Responsibilities:

    • Prepare various individual and estate tax returns
    • Handle some partnership tax returns as necessary
    • Organize clients' income tax information accurately and promptly
    • Support in tax extension filings and amended returns
    • Assist with year-end planning and quarterly tax estimates
    • Compile tax computations, workpapers, and tax entries
    • Address IRS or State Taxing Authority notifications
    • Aid clients in adjusting journal entries when required
    • Contribute to initial client file setup and preparation
    • Participate in researching technical tax matters
    • Help in drafting client communications
    • Identify and share tax planning suggestions with consultants

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
    • Proficiency in accounting software such as ProSystemsFx Tax, CaseWare, BNA Fixed Assets, BNA Income Tax Planner, XCM, Maconomy, and Quickbooks
    • At least 2 years of accounting experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Prior experience in Public Accounting
    • Strong eye for detail
    • Familiarity with Internal Revenue Code, tax regulations, and processes
    • Adaptability to changing situations and client requirements
    • Ability to apply accounting principles and concepts
