    Radiation Oncology Physician

    This facility is seeking a Radiation Oncology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.


    Details and requirements for this opportunity:

    • Schedule: 4 days per week, 8 hours per day, full-time; night call required.
    • Practice Setting: Outpatient setting; supported by a Radiation Oncology Registered Nurse, two Radiation Therapists, hybrid physics and dosimetry support, and an Oncology Social Worker.
    • Type of cases and required procedures: Varian TrueBeam; Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT), HyperArc; 90% osteoarthritis cases; fluctuating 5–10 patients per day.
    • Credentialing timeframe: 0-30 days
    • Certifications required: Must be Board Certified, must have
    Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration License (DEA)

    • Licensure required: Must have an active Virginia license; clean file required for temporary privileges.
