    Our office is actively looking to hire an experienced Client Intake Specialist in our Criminal Defense division, with a desire to grow within' the legal industry.

    This position must be staffed by an individual who is trustworthy, organized and works well with people. Discretion and integrity are top priorities.

    The ideal candidate for this role must be customer service orientated with extremely strong attention to detail, and possess the aptitude to accurately screen potential client calls.

    The ideal candidate will bring operational excellence to a team that handles a large volume of incoming client calls. Experience in the area of Criminal Defense law is preferred.

    Accurately screen telephone calls before scheduling an attorney-client consultationPersistently monitor all potential new client inquiries (email, internet, phone & referrals)Immediately contact every potential client & establish rapport with clientContinuously follow up with pending inquiriesUpdate logs and reporting systems to reflect status of all potential new clientsConduct potential new client interviews with genuine empathy and compassionSchedule appointments for potential clientsTake accurate notes during the attorney-client initial consultationWork with the firm's attorneys to complete the initial consultation processAssist attorneys with administrative tasks related to opening new cases and maintaining databasesFollow instructions from the supervising attorney and execute accordinglyWrite emails, transcribe notes, research legal documents, fax, copy, and create spreadsheets.


    Qualifications:


    Must be bilingual (English/Spanish) with written and verbal proficiencyAt least 2 years of experience doing intake preferably in the area of Criminal DefenseCase Management software experience is a major plusProfessional attitude and appearanceSolid written and verbal communication skillsAbility to be resourceful and proactive when issues ariseExcellent organizational skillsMultitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasksCustomer service attitudeDo you have a passion for the legal field and a desire to practice within an organization with lots of room for growth?
