Our preconstruction team will guide clients from initial concept through the final contract. We are searching for a Preconstruction Coordinator to support the department by coordinating and administering activities of negotiated work.Position Summary
–
Coordination of all activities required to support LSF Preconstruction services and the pursuit of negotiated work, beginning with lead generation and tracking, through preparation of polished deliverables during Preconstruction Services period, and Subcontracting support leading up to and following the construction start.
Business Development
Sources leads through a variety of avenues as assigned: media, jurisdictional meetings, grant databases, etc.
Maintains CRM database.
Cultivate the master Business Development electronic library of LSF marketing collateral: resumes, project pages, capability infographics, image library, content templates.
Preconstruction SupportSolicitation of subcontractor and supplier participation during preconstruction as assigned.
Generates project or client-specific marketing materials to demonstrate LSF's capabilities
With support as required, assemble preconstruction work products including budgets, clarifications, constructability reviews, logistics planning, and schedule assessment in the interest of a complete deliverable.
Administrative SupportUploads and organizes project plans, specifications and other project documentation
Maintains and monitor various tracking logs and electronic document management systems
Assist with phone calls/emails to follow up to close open items such as Subcontracts or proposals
Schedule meetings and prepare agendas/minutes as assigned
Required Skills
Minimum three to five years' experience in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry
Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) member/participation encouraged
Proficient with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe/BlueBeam, Procore and design software such as InDesign.
Able to conduct research, and collect data.
Ability to quickly and accurately input data into records, spreadsheets, and software applications
Advanced writing skills, including use of proper grammar and style to prepare polished professional documents.
Well-developed organizational skills, ability to multi-task
Ability to work and produce under pressure to meet deadlines
Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with people at all levels inside and outside the company and maintain/develop positive relationships.
