    Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Warehouse Associate to assist a busy retail lumber and flooring client in their warehouse. Ideal candidate is someone who truly enjoys assisting others, friendly and helpful and someone who goes out of their way to help others. Must be able to lift to 100 poundsThe primary function of this position is to load will call customers, as well as unload all incoming freight, build, stage and load all customer deliveries for company trucks.

    What the Warehouse Associate Will Do:
    1. Able to be in uniform and ready to work at start of assigned shift.
    2. Check schedule, attend meetings and appointments at start of shift
    3. Inspect and wear PPE and Safety Gear, complete Safety Check on Power Equipment (Forklift) to ensure the equipment and all safety devices are functioning properly.
    4. Monitor and oversee the warehouse and warehouse personnel to insure customer service, timeliness, organization, inventory control and efficiency.
    5. Build, stage and load all trucks according to daily delivery schedule.
    6. Maintain correct quantities of materials and ensure accurate records of inventory.
    7. Assist any customers picking up will call orders. Verify all material and quantities are correct before allowing customer to leave.
    8. Perform checkoffs of materials and products for delivery by company trucks, load truck and turn in dispatch.
    9. Receive in-coming stock items from vendor trucks, review and verify materials received for quality, quantity, and condition.
    10. Transport incoming stock to appropriate storage areas and assist with inventory control, as required.
    11. Rotate stock, pick up trash, sweep, shovel snow, etc.
    12. Remove carts, pallets, trash, cardboard, packing material and strapping and place in proper area or receptacles.
    13. Change propane powered Forklift tanks as needed.
    As Warehouse Team Member You Will Need:
    1. Two (2) to three (3) years' experience in warehouse operations or G.S.D. experience. Able to work as a team and follow instructions using mathematical skills
    2. Respond to inquiries and work calmly and effectively ensure all quality standards are met. Knowledge of SDS information regarding all materials used
    3. Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position
    4. Able to perform simple analytical competency and basic math / problem solving
    5. Required to perform heavy physical demands and must lift / carry up to 100 lbs.
