    Scope Of Job

    The Manager of Finance Administration is a proactive leader responsible for supporting the company's financial contractual and auditing processes.

    This role involves collaboration with various departments, including Sales, Service, Directors, Managers, and Supervisors, to ensure accurate and timely financial data input.

    The Manager of Finance Administration plays a crucial role in maintaining external relations with government agencies, regulatory bodies, insurance carriers, and other stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities

    Manage external relations related to government affairs, including Federal, State, Local, Municipal, regulatory agencies, and insurance carriers.

    Coordinate the Accounting Department, overseeing Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Credit Management, etc.

    Process and complete Federal, State, Local filings, reports, and taxes.

    Collaborate with the Controller to ensure accurate financial information and timely reporting.

    Lead the planning and review of audit procedures and manage the Audit for the FS.

    Manage organizational cash flow and forecasting in coordination with the Controller.

    Ensure compliance with accounting standards, GAAP, and regulatory requirements.

    Understand and assess risks involved in sales contracts, insurance, and governmental financial activities.

    Maintain compliance with local state requirements, including filing annual reports, sales tax, and employee withholding.

    Handle contracts such as leases, NDA's, customer agreements, vendor agreements, government contracts, and other individualized agreements.

    Work cross-functionally with other departments on a daily basis.

    Manage filings for water treatment in the Lewiston facility.

    Perform bookkeeping when needed and required.

    Work with Safety/HR on workers' compensation.

    Address other legal occurrences and concerns as directed.

    Qualifications And Skills


    Minimum of 5 years as an Accounting Manager in a structured company, with experience in monthly closing, BG, FC, and coordinating audits.


    Education:
    Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; MBA preferred but not required.

    Demonstrated ability to design and implement best practices in financial agreements, contracts, and financial operations management.

    Proven soft skills, including negotiations, communication (internal/external), and brokering sales when necessary.

    Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.

    Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Demonstrated effective interpersonal and creative problem-solving skills, including conflict and ethical management.

    Excellent written and oral communication skills.

    Elite computer skills, especially in accounting software, Microsoft 365, Excel, spreadsheet management, and financial analysis.

    Experience with SAP is a plus.
