    JOB DESCRIPTION:
    We are seeking a qualified candidate with a comprehensive grasp of architectural principles, patterns, and frameworks, coupled with proficiency across various technology platforms, infrastructure, databases, security protocols, legal compliance standards, and software solutions. The incumbent should possess a robust understanding of the technical architecture of packaged solutions such as Oracle ERP, Oracle SaaS Fusion Cloud, Coupa, and Salesforce. As an Enterprise Platform Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical leadership and guiding strategic decision-making to support our Architecture practice, aligning with our business objectives.

    This role demands an individual who is deeply driven and dedicated to delivering outstanding technical solutions, architectural designs, and fostering collaboration. The ideal candidate will exhibit a fervent enthusiasm for technology and a proven track record of delivering high-caliber solutions within dynamic environments.

    RESPONSIBILITIES Strategy & Planning

    • Develop comprehensive solution architecture designs, encompassing both high-level and detailed technical specifications along with implementation strategies.
    • Assume accountability for technical decisions, documentation, and guidance regarding high-level designs and methodologies.
    • Propose solutions based on the Reference Digital Integration Layer, linking the Experience Layer, Microservices, Event-based integration, Data management (data streaming), and various system of record applications and data repositories such as Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud, and other ERPs.
    • Lead the design of Microservices Technology platforms with a focus on maximizing reusability.
    • Conduct proof-of-concept activities and pilots to explore the latest trends and advancements in digital transformation, integrating them into our technology strategy.
    • Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of technology solutions while addressing potential risks and issues that may impact business operations.
    • Perform gap analysis, risk assessment, and impact analysis.
    • Collaborate with IT/technology stakeholders to identify operational impacts and reduce the total cost of ownership for IT capabilities.
    • Regularly assess the technology architecture to identify areas for enhancement and provide recommendations to Platform Engineering leadership.
    • Collaborate across technology domains to identify, architect, and design foundational technology capabilities that underpin our Digital transformation initiatives across product development and Integration.
    • Identify solution accelerators for various Enablement teams (Microservices, Digital Integration Layer, Low-code/No-code, DevOps, etc.) to facilitate the adoption of modernization efforts.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, UX/UI designers, data analysts, product owners, and business analysts, to design and implement scalable, high-performance solutions.
    • Partner with key stakeholders across Enterprise Architecture and Product teams to understand the Business Transformation roadmap, particularly regarding emerging cloud solutions such as Oracle SaaS, HighRadius, etc., and identify opportunities for enhancing processes and workflows through technology solutions.

    Acquisition & Deployment

    • Monitor and manage the performance of deployed technologies and software products, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
    • Independently conduct hands-on prototyping activities.
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the deployment and operation of new technologies and software products.
    • Identify and mitigate risks associated with technology deployment, ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements.

    Operational Management

    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, implementing metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of the technology architecture and identifying areas for enhancement.
    • Develop solutions to support cybersecurity strategies and safeguard the organization against internal and external threats.
    • Oversee the deployment of new technology solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
    • Continuously evaluate and refine operational processes to improve efficiency and mitigate risks.

    Incidental Functions

    • Participate in internal and external committees, working groups, and forums to share knowledge, promote best practices, and drive improvements in technical solutions.
    • Conduct training sessions, workshops, and educational activities to disseminate knowledge and enhance technical skills among team members and stakeholders.
    • Contribute to hiring and talent management processes, identifying top talent, and nurturing the development of existing team members.
    • Serve as a mentor to technical staff, offering guidance, feedback, and support to aid in their skill development and professional growth.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Formal Education & Certification

    • Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

    Knowledge & Experience

    • Possess 10+ years of experience in IT.
    • Demonstrate 8+ years of experience in solution architecture and architectural frameworks, including the formulation of current, transitional, and future state architectures.
    • Have 5+ years of experience in leading and delivering solution architecture for large-scale Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, preferably in manufacturing or finance sectors.
    • Exhibit 4+ years of experience in Java/Spring Boot or similar platforms/frameworks within a service-oriented environment.
    • Proficient in designing integration solutions utilizing Microservices, Event-based integration layer, and data management layer.
    • Familiarity with modern product development and integration architectures.
    • In-depth understanding of architectural patterns, principles, and frameworks.
    • Experience with containers and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker Enterprise) in a public/hybrid cloud model.
    • Knowledge of Azure platform and services offered by Azure cloud platform.
    • Experience in Solutioning digital products using PowerApps platform, ReactJS, Java spring boot, docker, Kubernetes, etc.
    • Ability to provide detailed input on design, code, configuration, and data model reviews, with zero distance to code.
    • Experience building products & services in "As a Service" models (e.g., SaaS, IaaS, PaaS) and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
    • Extensive experience with Cloud and Enterprise Middleware technologies, architectures, and programming systems, ideally within a product company developing large Enterprise software suites and solutions.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Familiarity with DevOps and Agile engineering practices.
    • Experience with routing and messaging tools/patterns.
    • 8+ years of experience collaborating with internal clients and/or external agencies/partners.
    • Ability to develop process flow-based data and software architectures, aligning with product processes and information systems.
    • Experience with Agile product development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
    • Familiarity with Agile tools is advantageous.

    This position is eligible to work in the office three days a week and has the option to work remotely two days a week.
