Mountain View Hospital is looking for a Courier/Hospital Services Representative to join our team
JOB SUMMARY:
The Courier / Hospital Services Representative position is responsible for the safe and well documented transport of various articles of hospital business ( labs, images, specimens, confidential documents). The Courier / Hospital Services Representative must complete all tasks in a manner which does not violate HIPAA regulations. Representatives will conduct all business in a manner that will spread good will through the hospital and throughout the community.

Qualifications
Education/Certification: High school graduate or equivalent, current driver's license, clean driving record. Current BLS certification including training on defibrillators and renewal as required.
Experience: One year experience in customer service.
Equipment/Technology: Basic knowledge of motor vehicle maintenance. The operation of a standard transmission is a plus.
Language/Communication Must have the sensitivity, maturity, and ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
Personal Presentation: Dress must be pressed and professional and personal hygiene must be maintained.
Mathematical Skills: Basic math; ability to make change.
Mental Capabilities: Must have the ability to prioritize multiple and competing customer and staff needs.
Interpersonal: Must be able to communicate and work well with diverse spectrum of co-workers and customers.
Performance: Must be able to work efficiently and comply with daily demands.
