    Description

    Job Title: Center Associate

    The UPS Store Center Associate provides exceptional customer service by receiving and processing packages for courier shipment, operating various equipment, and offering expert advice on products and services.

    This role requires a strong retail sales background, excellent computer and internet skills, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a professional demeanor. The ideal candidate is a fast learner who can absorb knowledge quickly and effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Deliver outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and phone inquiries.
    • Develop strong relationships with customers, team members, and leadership through active listening and open communication.
    • Take ownership of shipping needs and provide tailored solutions.
    • Stay up-to-date on product offerings, industry trends, and alternative solutions.
    • Operate equipment, software, and devices with expertise and be willing to train others.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites.
    • Basic design and print experience.
    • Excellent phone skills and multitasking abilities.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and math calculations.
    • Prompt, reliable, and responsible.
    • Able to lift and move packages weighing 50+ pounds with assistance.
    • Eligible to become a public Notary.

    Work Experience:

    Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a retail environment like the UPS Store, is an asset but not required.
