Rotating (United States of America) Sentara is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, Virginia Sign On Bonus up to $2,500 Offered for qualified candidatesStatus: Part time (24 hours)
Shift: Dayshift; Three 8 hours shifts per week between the hours of 830am-7pm (shift times can vary). Will work weekend (Saturday AND Sunday) shift 1x a month from 10:30am to 5pm.
Location: Primary location is Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA. Secondary location is Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, VA for coverage needs and no weekend schedule.
Job responsibilities:
Prepare medications under the direction of a pharmacist. Measure, mix, count out, label, and record amounts and dosages of medications according to prescription orders. Responsible for managing the drug distribution system and providing technical support in all aspects of the delivery of safe, effective, patient-focused, and cost-efficient drug therapy.
