    Description

    A growing company is seeking a hungry, hardworking Corporate Paralegal to support General Counsel.

    This is a direct – hire opportunity with onsite work hours from 9am – 5 pm, Monday through Friday.

    Responsibilities:

    • Review all company documents
    • Manage all company contracts and membership agreements
    • Oversee and edit legal documents
    • Assists in management of company's intellectual property portfolio
    • Handle all litigation matters
    • Assist with legal drafting and legal research
    • Provide support to Sr. Paralegal and other internal departments
    • Demonstrate professional drafting and communication skills

    Qualifications:

    • Paralegal Certified preferred
    • Bachelor degree required
    • 2+ years of general legal work in franchise and/or commercial law preferred
    • Firsthand knowledge of statutes, rules, and regulations pertaining to businesses and franchising
    • Excellent contract law experience and familiarity with franchise processes and intellectual property law
    • Comfortable handling confidential information
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office
    • Experience working with Contract Law a big plus

    Compensation and Benefits:

    • $55,000-$60,000 annual salary
