Description
I'm the hospitalist medical director for Sound Physicians at the Community Hospital of San Bernardino in San Bernardino, CA. I joined the hospitalist team at our sister facility, St. Bernardine's, in 2018 and transitioned to the medical director role at Community Hospital in 2020.Experience the strength of our team s diversity, with clinicians from varied geographic, educational, and training backgrounds, creating a supportive and inclusive culture.
Within the hospital, we work closely with our colleagues in other departments to ensure a smooth transition of care.
We work in an open ICU environment, but no procedures are required. We use Cerner EMR and have access to Sound Physicians' internal informatics platform.Expected annual compensation is based on shifts and experience level and with Sound.
The base shift rate for the first two years is $255,130, and it will increase to $270,930 with the regular rotation of day and night shifts.
Quality and productivity incentives are in addition to the shift pay.Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D insurance, long- and short-term disability, 401k with match, paid medical malpractice and tail coverage, and annual CME allowance.
