    Vector has an immediate need for an experienced Manager to lead the Business Development and Embedded Software Sales team at Vector North America in Novi, MI.

    This team is responsible for business development, program management, and sales processing related to our embedded software products and services.

    This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in both the technical side of automotive software and building business relationships.


    Position Description:
    Manage and optimize team resources to best ensure customer satisfaction and business growth Identify, specify and propose projects and/or solutions to assist OEM and Tier 1 customers integrating Vector software into their products or processes Proactively initiate customer contact on a regular basis to strengthen partnership while understand their goals, challenges and requirements for embedded software initiatives Work with account management to follow opportunities through to a sale including issue resolutions, customer satisfaction, and product deliveries Develop and implement business development plans to meet product line goals Contribute information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and feedback from customers Ensure compliance with Vector's embedded software sales procedures and processes Oversee training and development of sales team, while promoting a teamwork culture Collaborate with other teams and external stakeholders, on both a local and global basis Requirements
    Key Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in the customer-facing sales / support activities / program management in the automotive domain and embedded software development Ability to recognize, develop and propose embedded software solutions to existing or potential customers Process orientated with the ability to define procedures, delegate work and mediate during conflicts Strong management and leadership skills, able to develop and complete common team objectives Advanced oral and written communication skills for diverse audiences within customer organizations

    • Ability to translate complex embedded software solutions into business value especially at management levels with the customer A strong drive for customer satisfaction and the ability to build credibility and trust Knowledge of OEM/Tier1 automotive ECU development and testing process BS EE/CE/CS/SE or equivalent combination of education/ professional experience within the automotive domain and embedded software development

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Strong understanding of OEM/ Tier 1 customer embedded software challenges and market requirements such as ASPICE, ISO26262, etc Motivated to work on a global level and willing to travel internationally Experience with Vector products (MICROSAR, CANoe/CANalyzer, vFlash, ...) Business degree (e.g.
