    Responsibilities The Peraton USPS Central Repair Facility is looking for skilled individuals such as yourself to join our ranks and growing team We are looking for the following individuals for on site interviews, and plant tours From mission to mail, Peraton is expanding the way the postal service does business for our national customers Join our team for the chance to make a difference in your community and afar All candidates will be sponsored for a Public Trust Security Clearance Don't miss this opportunity We are looking for the following positions and skillsets: Machinists:

    • Technician I (2rd Shift)
    • Technician II

    Technician Roles:

    • Technician I - Mechanical
    • Technician I - ElectronicLogistics:
    • Shipping and Receiving Clerks

    Qualifications Basic Qualifications:

    • Must be a U.S. Citizen Capable of Obtaining and Maintaining a Public Trust Security Clearance
    • Formal mechanical training from an accredited program or equivalent military training, or a minimum of two years verifiable work history experience in mechanical and/or electromechanical repairs may be used in lieu of education
    • Must have a strong mechanical aptitude with the knowledge and ability to perform repairs on simple to medium complexity electromechanical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic items
    • Ability to perform basic troubleshooting techniques
    • Must be able to read both electrical and mechanical wiring diagrams, schematics and blueprints
    • Understand the fundamentals of AC and DC motor theory, single and three phase motors

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Background in Component Level Repair or equivalent military training (Electronic)
    • Formal training from an accredited program or equivalent military training (Mechanical)
    • Background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
    • Shipping and Receiving Background
    • Machining background
    Target Salary Range $30,000 - $48,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors. SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range EEO An Equal Opportunity Employer including Disability/Veteran.
