Material Planner

Zing Professional Recruiting, in partnership with a prominent flavor/fragrance manufacturing company in Mount Olive, NJ, is seeking an experienced Material Planner to join their team

Material Planner Salary:

· Pay: $70 - $80k

Schedule:

· Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Utilize MRP to create and maintain workorders for both liquids and flavor compounds
• Utilize Fulfillment Workbench to create and maintain dispensing jobs
• Determine optimal min/max levels and restocking points to maintain appropriate inventory.
• Review inventory levels for excess / write offs / blend backs
• Work with rabbinical services and I-Kosher as required
• Schedule outside toll manufacturing as needed
• Issue purchase orders and receive vendor confirmation within 48 hours
• Provide resolution to pricing discrepancies, complaints, late deliveries, and receipt issues.
• Review and Maintain Master data for all relevant Purchasing aspects
• Analyze Raw Material activity reports: Open Purchase Order and Exceptions
• Support All Sample Lab Projects/Library Requirements
• Provide Support/Communication for all Internal Teams
• Utilize Pegging Report to Communicate Planning Issues to Internal Teams
• Participate in Process Improvement Projects for all aspects of the Planning/Buying Functionality

COMPETENCIES:

• Ability to shift priorities quickly and perform at a high level in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain concepts
• Ability to effectively present information (oral / written)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of MRP, Batchmetrics and Oracle is a plus
• Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

• High School Diploma with Manufacturing Experience greater than 5 years.
• Strong supervisory skills, strong mathematical skills, and advanced proficiency in ERP, Production Systems, and MS365 including Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.

Preferred:

• BS with manufacturing knowledge and previous planning experience of 2-5 years
• Knowledgeable in ORACLE
