- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Medical/Surgical unit
- Assess patient conditions and develop appropriate care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and progress
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and their families on disease management and treatment plans
- Assist with procedures such as wound care, catheterization, and ostomy care
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient information in electronic medical records
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients
- Proficient in medical terminology and documentation
- Experience in dementia care, infant care, dialysis, ER, airway management, catheterization, ostomy care, and primary care is preferred
- Knowledge of durable medical equipment (DME) usage and maintenance
- Strong critical thinking and problemsolving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
