    Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years pharmacy experience required.


    We are seeking an Interim Pharmacist to provide coverage for 8 weeks in Las Vegas, ensuring Omnicell dispensing cabinets are adequately stocked at 4 sites throughout the city.

    The successful candidate will play a crucial role in advising clinical staff on medication selection, dose, interactions, and side effects to ensure quality patient care.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Review patient charts for correct medication therapy and documentation
    • Conduct weekly onsite visits to each facility
    • Assist in maintaining sufficient medication stock, working with pharmaceutical wholesalers if necessary
    • Review and reconcile controlled substances logs and conduct an annual controlled substance inventory
    • Ensure pliance with all regulatory agency rules and regulations
    • Maintain appropriate facility licenses
    • Provide oncall 24hour service to answer questions or assist clinical staff if needed
    • Counsel patients on medication therapy as required
    • Plan, monitor, and evaluate drug programs and regimens

    Dates of Coverage:
    8 weeks


    Coverage Hours:
    Between 8 am - 5 pm, with potential for additional hours if cabinets need restocking. 40 hrs/week.


    Weekend Coverage:
    Potentially required if cabinets need restocking.


    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school of pharmacy
    • State Board of Pharmacy license in good standing
