    THE TYPE OF CANDIDATE WE'RE LOOKING FOR

    Are you an excellent communicator with strong written and verbal skills? Do you work well with a team? Can you exercise good judgment, courtesy, and tact in dealing with the public and other employees? Our ideal candidate also exhibits the qualifications listed below:

    • 21+ years old
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • 2+ years of solid experience in medical billing and coding
    • A valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance
    • Knowledge of or experience with billing software systems and Microsoft Office
    • Knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security rules
    • Ability to dispute billing and receivable discrepancies

    A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required. Medical billing and coding certification would be a plus.

    YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS A BILLING SPECIALIST

    As part of our team, you manage invoice processing and compliance, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established procedures. Your role includes maintaining accounting records, reconciling receivables, and supporting month-end reporting and audits. Working closely with funding agencies, you handle claims processing and resolve issues promptly.

    You also work closely with your colleagues, providing support on contract matters and financial reporting. Your focus on financial integrity and efficiency drives process improvements and compliance. You assist with Medicaid billing and support special projects as needed. It gives you great satisfaction to play such a big role in supporting our mission
