Position: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for Disability Assessments on Veterans

Description:

• Perform medical assessments on United States Veterans for the VA's disability benefits process.
• Review medical records electronically and conduct in-person physical exams.
• Electronically document exam findings through a web portal.
• No involvement in disability determinations or medication prescription.
• Conduct Disability Assessments on 3-5 Veterans daily.
• Schedule: Part-time, Fridays (8am-4pm)
• Location: In-person

Key Attributes:

• Perform Independent Medical Assessments.
• Analyze data to form medical opinions.
• Skilled in time management and computer usage.
• Hold a current, unrestricted NP or PA license.

Requirements:

• Current, unrestricted NP or PA (NCCPA accredited) license.
