    Job Summary:
    Senior level SAN/Storage engineer responsible for company storage infrastructure

    Required And Desired Skills/Certifications:
    10 years of experience in the plan, design, configuring, optimizing and supporting large and diverse enterprise storage systems. Including creating dashboard, reporting and capacity planning. 7+ years of hands-on experience Designing, Configuring and Supporting Dell PowerMax and Unity storage systems. 7+ years of hands-on experience Designing, Configuring and Supporting NetApp and PURE, storage systems. 7+ years of hands-on experience Designing, Configuring and Supporting Cisco and Brocade SAN Fabric systems.

    7+ years hands-on experience with enterprise hierarchical storage system management 5+ years of knowledge and support of storage systems in a VMware ESX environment, others hypervisors is a plus.

    4+ years hands-on experience with Cisco MDS backbone switches.


    Duties And Responsibilities:

    Evaluate, design, implement, and deploy SAN, NAS & DAS hardware and software, to include Dell PowerMax, Unity, PURE, Cisco and Brocade fabric architectures in tiered multi-protocol storage models.

    Create designs and documentation of backup/restore strategies. Provide support for all company Storage Infrastructure (to include installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and monitoring).

    Designing and implementing storage for one or more enterprise services such as, MS SQL, Active Directory, Windows Server, Oracle, Linux, Fileshare, BLOB file repos.

    Managing storage in a On-Prem VMware, Cloud VMware (VMC-A), containers, and company Metal virtualization environment.

    Managing and providing near real time storage usage statistics, storage management and capacity management and providing future projected growth estimates.

    Following Enterprise Architecture Procedures. Recommending, implementing, and deliver technology solutions based on analysis and business requirements aligned with IT Strategy. Managing storage provisioning process and documentation (including, but not limited to, Windows, Linux, and virtualized servers). Managing fiber channel network; must be well versed in fiber channel, iSCSI, NFS, CIFS. Monitoring, report and correct storage performance issues. Responsible for capacity planning and performance analysis. Aiding cross-functionally in support of Windows, Linux, and ESXi disk performance troubleshooting and optimization. Partner with vendors to review new technology offering and troubleshoot problems as needed.#J-18808-Ljbffr
