    Responsibilities:

    • The Warehouse Manager will supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, order preparation & fulfillment.
    • Schedule and oversee drivers, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime
    • Plan work routes, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results aiming for efficient delivery of orders.
    • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of equipment and materials by inspecting loaded trucks before they depart for deliveries.
    • Maintain accurate records of loaded trucks, deliveries, and any discrepancies or damage encountered during transportation.
    • Communicate back orders to the sales office promptly and accurately, recording them in the back-order logbook for reference.
    • Collaborate with other departments, such as Field staff, HR, Project Managers and Accounting, to ensure efficient and effective warehouse operations.
    • Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts, inspecting & calibrating equipment, issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement to ensure operational efficiency and adequate space utilization
    • Complying with federal, state, and warehousing legislation requirements by maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in order to enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
    • Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts, calibration of equipment, reconciling with data storage system and producing reports (IN/OUT status report, dead stock reports, etc.) for the management of inventory levels.
    • Purchase and order parts, equipment, and materials required for projects.

    Qualifications

    • Associates Degree
    • 2 years+ construction skilled trades (Preferred)
    • Previous warehouse management experience (Preferred)
    • Tech savvy, must have experience using Microsoft Office
    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Must be a self-performer with minimum guidance
    • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
    • Fluent in Spanish (Preferred)
    • Must live in Brooklyn, near the Borough Park area

    Hours

    9:00 am - 5:30 pm (Monday - Thursday), 8:00 am - 12:00 pm (Friday), 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm (Sunday)
