Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our automotive team In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repair services. Your enthusiasm, mechanical knowledge, and exceptional communication skills will ensure a smooth and positive experience for every customer. You will coordinate service appointments, explain repair options, and work closely with technicians to deliver top-quality automotive care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine your passion for cars with your talent for customer service, all while contributing to a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
• Schedule service appointments efficiently, balancing customer requests with shop capacity
• Explain repair procedures, estimates, and recommended services clearly and transparently
• Upsell additional maintenance or repair services based on vehicle diagnostics and customer needs
• Collaborate with technicians to prioritize repairs, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion
• Manage service writing, including creating detailed work orders and invoices using auto estimating software
• Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions, repairs performed, and parts used
• Stay updated on automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and industry best practices to advise customers effectively

Qualifications

• A fire and drive to provide a 5 star experience to your customers.
• Proven dealership experience or prior auto service management background is highly preferred
• Experience working with service technicians to coordinate repairs efficiently
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-experts
• Knowledge of automotive repair processes such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, suspension work, brake repairs, and diesel engine repairs
• Ability to upsell services tactfully while maintaining integrity and customer trust
• Familiarity with dealership auto sales processes is a plus
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in service writing and documentation
