Job Summary and Qualifications

The Echo/CV Registered Nurse is to assist the cardiologist in performing Transesophageal Echocardiograms, and Direct Current Cardioversions.

What you will do in this role:

• Help to facilitate and execute Pharmacological Stress Echocardiograms in conjunction with the Chest Pain Nursing staff.
• Assume the role of the patient advocate.
• Exhibit knowledge of patient procedural preparation.
• Utilize initiative, strive to maintain steady level of productivity, display understanding in absolute and relative contraindications prior to all procedures.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
  
• 1 year of RN experience required.
