    Responsibilities

    • Prepares equipment for indicated therapy procedures.
    • Regularly transfers and transports patients to the department and returns them to the room following treatment.
    • Assists staff with patient treatment, transfers, mobility and gait under supervision of therapist.
    • Contributes to the preparation of charges, schedules, ordering of supplies and other paperwork, as well as other duties that may be assigned by the Manager or Director.
    • Maintain skills and knowledge through training and continuing education to provide expected standards of care.
    • Provides age-appropriate treatment according to established goals on the treatment plan, under the supervision of the therapist.
    • Regularly assists on a daily basis in the upkeep and after care of machines, maintenance of temperature logs, cleaning and organizing the entire department to ensure a safe working environment for all patients and staff.
    • Assists therapists during case conferences.

    Qualifications

    Job Requirements
    • High school diploma or GED required
    Preferred Job Requirements
    • One year of experience in health/fitness/wellness
