Job Description
The primary responsibility of the Auto Body Technician is to restore vehicles to their pre-accident condition. This involves assessing damage, disassembling and repairing affected areas, and reassembling components.
Main Responsibilities:
An exceptional technician will thoroughly disassemble sections of a vehicle using specialized tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers. They must also inspect all parts for any signs of damage or wear.
If feasible, minor body repairs are performed without removing damaged sections. In more severe cases where replacement may be necessary; technicians mix different types filler resins , then carefully apply them according to specifications provided by manufacturers during assembly process which results better efficiency time management skills due smooth handling operations resulting satisfactory customer satisfaction levels consistently delivered workmanship.
