Accounting Analyst

Location: Kansas City, MO

Pay Rate: $34/hour

Schedule: Part Time 20 hours per week

Contract Type: Temporary

Kelly Services has recently partnered with a global food and beverage manufacturer to help find an Accounting Analyst to join their team. Our client has been in business for over 80 years and is dedicated to sustainability in the industry. The Accounting Analyst will be responsible for the international accounting functions. Job Duties:

· Review International Letters of Credit.

· Assist with coding wires for outside offices.

· Financial review/analysis of all Internation Letters of Credit to ensure payment.

· Review BDT (Broker Determination Table) updates.

· Ensure sales offices/groups are properly set up and linked to ensure proper reporting.

· Accounts Payable for freight invoices.

· Apply rotary payments to ensure proper clearing of accounts receivable.

· Provide open AR statement & aging to rotary.

· Answer questions on open credit & debit memos on accounts.

· Provide support for external and internal auditors, including technical documentation.

· Ownership of certain accounting processes including performing analysis.

· Alert management of problems and significant balances that may become issues.

· Assist with month-end close, including JE.

· USDA reporting.

· May perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university in Accounting, Finance or related field and 2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· SAP experience, preferred.

· Knowledge of financial and business principles.

· Advanced knowledge of Adobe Pro and Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

· Ability to work well with others in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
