Maintenance TechnicianReports to:
Director of Operations

Job Summary:
We are on the hunt for a talented and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance department. In this position, your chief responsibility is to preserve the excellent condition and functionality of our business premises. Your duties will include conducting quality assessments, scheduling repairs, maintaining inventory, and developing preventative maintenance procedures.

Our ideal candidate will be a jack-of-all-trades, with in-depth knowledge of maintenance procedures, hydraulic systems, and basic tools and appliances.

To excel in this position, you must be an outstanding problem-solver with exceptional communication and organizational skills.

Requirements:

Fluent in EnglishProficient reading and writing skillsBasic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systemsDemonstrated experience as a maintenance technicianPhysically capable of lifting 50 poundsStrong understanding of general maintenance processes and methodsExperienced in operating a variety of equipment, including snow blowers, lawn mowers, and small hand toolsWorking knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devicesOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsEPA technician certification requiredExcellent manual dexterity and problem-solving skillsResponsibilities: Perform basic repairs and preventative maintenance on fitness equipmentPerform basic building maintenance and repairsMust have reliable transportation to oversee multiple locationsHave own tools is a plus but can possibly provide for the right candidate.

Must be fluent in EnglishMust be able to read and write in EnglishPhysical FactorsPrimarily sitting at a computer workstation with occasional bending, twisting, reaching, pulling, walking and lifting up to 50 poundsTypical Working Conditions will include inside work at the corporate office or onsite at a club facilityEssential Job Responsibilities:
High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field is preferred.
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.
Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
Physically capable and available to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
Effective problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be well- organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks.
