A law firm in Washington, DC, is seeking a Senior Tax Executive Compensation, Employment, And Benefits Associate Attorney with 5 years of executive compensation and employee benefits experience.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in company representation and compensation disclosure issues and a broad array of transactional executive compensation and benefits matters, including tax, securities, and other relevant laws.
Duties:
Provide legal advice and counsel on executive compensation, employment, and benefits matters to clients.
Draft, review, and negotiate executive compensation agreements, employment contracts, and benefit plans.
Conduct legal research and analysis on tax implications, securities laws, and other relevant executive compensation and benefits regulations.
Assist clients in compliance with federal and state laws governing executive compensation and employee benefits.
Represent clients in negotiations, mediation, and other legal proceedings related to executive compensation and benefits matters.
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the Washington, DC, Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing law, focusing on executive compensation and employee benefits.
Strong understanding of tax laws, securities regulations, and other relevant legal frameworks.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
Admission to the Washington, DC, Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
Skills:
