    About us


    Community Assessment & Treatment Services is a non-profit substance abuse center in Cleveland, OH. Our mission is to promote the social justice needs of the community by providing high-quality, cost-effective, evidence-based interventions that comprehensively address the chemical dependency and behavioral health needs of a diverse clientele.

    Duties and Responsibilities:


    I. Case Management


    A. Provide clients resources
    • Crisis Intervention Services
    • Training and facilitating linkages for the use of community resources and social service systems
    • Receipt of benefits

    B. Assist clients in obtaining the following, but not limited to:

    1. Benefits

    2. Transportation

    3. Financial Assistance

    4. Housing Assistance

    5. Food

    6. Clothing

    7. Medical Services

    8. Educational, Vocational, and Recreational Services
    • Encourages clients to become involved with self-help support groups
    • Enhances social support networks with relatives, friends, and/or organizations
    • Coordinates criminal justice services
    • Coordinates and/or provides transportation for clients at various times

    II. Quality Assurance and Improvement
    • Monitors service delivery
    • Participates in Continuous Quality Improvement activities as stipulated in the agency CQI plan
    • Maintains organization and accuracy through documentation and filing

    III. Other
    • Attends all mandatory meetings and training
    • Other duties as assigned

    Skills and Knowledge Required:
    • Knowledge of core program services
    • Working knowledge of the signs, symptoms, and criteria associated with AOD use

    disorders
    • Crisis intervention skills
    • Knowledge of community-based resources and accessing insurance benefits
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
    • Record keeping and services documentation skills
    • Ability to communicate openly and regularly among a treatment team composed of multidisciplinary members
    • Computer literacy beneficial
    • Ability to utilize company vehicles as determined by C.A.T.S. insurance carrier
    • Possess a valid driver's license and have maintained a good driving record
    • Maintain appropriate levels of insurance on personal vehicles as specified by C.A.T.S.

    Credentials / Academic Requirements:


    · High school diploma or equivalent

    · Minimum two (2) years of work experience in counseling or social work setting
    • Must be registered with the Ohio Credentialing Board as a candidate for CDCA certification

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: From $32,800.00 per year
