- Follow and perform duties in adherence to Senior Lifestyle Corporation Dining Policy and Procedures based on the Dining Services Manual.
- Serve food according to established portion control procedures and ensure compliance with modified diets, nutrition requirements, and resident preferences.
- Assist in serving meals promptly, ensuring they are palatable, appetizing, and accurate in content, including resident room service and designated dining areas.
- Setup, deliver, and verify accuracy of meal trays, food carts, and dining areas as instructed. Remove soiled items and equipment after meals.
- Assist in obtaining food supplies for the next meal, preparation of menu items, snack delivery, inventory control, and stocking.
- Adhere to safety precautions during food preparation and kitchen utility duties.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in all dining areas.
- Attend required training sessions, in-services, and staff meetings to meet department training standards.
- Level of Formal Education: High School Diploma
- Years of Experience: Entry Level (0-3 Years)
- Type of Experience: Food Service or Hospitality
- Special Certifications: Serv Safe or required local, county, or state certification
- Language Skills: Effective verbal communication with various audiences
- Basic cooking and meal preparation skills.
- Understanding of service techniques and requirements.
- Ability to seek instruction and handle multiple projects.
- Interpretation of instructions and familiarity with therapeutic diets, sanitation, and service.
