- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively with other crew members and medical agencies to provide the highest level of patient care.
- Ability to read and interpret all required documents and write required reports.
- Strong organization skills and attentiveness to detail.
- Ability to maintain a professional manner and appearance at all times.
- Physically able to perform all tasks required in the performance of typical Paramedic duties including but not limited to bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
- Ability to conduct a thorough examination of the patient for signs and symptoms of illness or injury. And assist other medical personnel to accomplish this as necessary.
- Ability to provide prompt medical care to the patient for the stabilization of their condition prior to transport.
- Ability to clean and restock the unit to place the unit back in service.
- Ability to precept students or new employees.
- Age 21 at time of offer letter.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- CCP-C or FPC-C with Southern Nevada Health District endorsement or ability to challenge.
- AHA BLS, ACLS and PALS provider
- PHTLS or ITLS (within 6 months)
- Current Nevada driver's license with clean driving record.
- Pass medical evaluation, drug screening, and background process.
- Ability to obtain other qualifications specific to the local operation, City and/or contract within 60 days of hire.
- Complete New Hire Orientation training within 90 days of hire.
