Job Summary:

Raizan Solutions, a recruitment agency, seeks a skilled Weld & Forming Process Engineer to spearhead the advancement, fine-tuning, and facilitation of manufacturing processes for our esteemed franchise clients. Your pivotal role involves leveraging your profound understanding of welding and forming methodologies to elevate standards in quality, productivity, and cost efficiency. As a key member of our team, you'll operate in an autonomous capacity, collaborating closely with multifaceted teams to guarantee the seamless production of top-tier products.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate machinery, procedures, operations, and protocols to pinpoint opportunities for enhancing safety, quality, throughput, and cost-effectiveness.
• Spearhead adjustments and standardization enhancements to elevate operational efficacy.
• Review proposals from suppliers for acquiring new equipment and supervise their integration into operations.
• Choose and implement appropriate manufacturing methodologies, employing contemporary organizational strategies to ensure competitive cost frameworks.
• Continuously refine existing and prospective manufacturing processes through ongoing enhancement initiatives.
• Forge close partnerships with production and maintenance teams to uphold optimal equipment functionality.
• Execute Capability Studies and Time Studies to amplify process effectiveness.
• Develop Visual Work Instructions and extend support to production while troubleshooting processes.
• Lead endeavors for cost minimization, with a focus on reducing scrap, rework, and cycle times.
• Prescribe tools, jigs, and fixtures to optimize manufacturing procedures.
• Coordinate projects and deliver daily troubleshooting assistance.
• Actively engage in Kaizen events to propel process enhancements.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Material Science, Mechanical, Welding, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering, or relevant hands-on expertise.
• Demonstrated 2-4 years of engineering project involvement within metal manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Lean manufacturing methodologies, proficiency in conducting capability studies, adeptness in process mapping, FMEA, and root cause analysis.
• Proficient in utilizing Creo, AutoCAD, and MS Office suites.
