    How will your role impact First Command?


    The Software Product Manger role will oversee the overall health, direction, and execution of a specific First Command Software Platform (i.e., ).

    The role will work directly and indirectly with the Executive Leadership Team, Advisor Community, Marketing, BIS, Service Experience, and the Agile Teams to assist and drive the Strategy, Roadmaps, Epics, and Delivery for the product.

    The Software Product Manager will also develop an understanding of new technologies, trends, and build alliances with outside partners in the platform's community, including supporting partners, system integrators, and other customers.

    What will you be doing?

    Participate in the development and design of a technology vision, strategy, and implementation path for specific assigned platform and related applications

    Lead an effective team dedicated to fulfilling First Command's mission to our Clients and Field through highly successful program implementation, team engagement, and continuous improvement; create a culture of transparency and communication throughout the organization.

    Collaborate with the Business Architect, Solution Architects, Epic Owners to ensure the development, design, and implementation for seamless integration of different functional modules.

    Articulate vision and business value of building, supporting, and developing the CRM platform by directing the analysis of initiative requests for development, analyzing feasibility and effort/cost balance; report back to platform LPM, EPIC Owners, and ELT

    Work cross-functionally with Enterprise Architecture, UX, QA, marketing, sales, support, implementation, and other stakeholders and deliver on a shared vision of success.

    Effectively identify and manage cross-team dependencies
    Help develop communications material, value props, and high-level strategic justification to help explain the why of your product both internally and externally
    Serve as Product Manager in SAFe Agile events, activities and initiatives

    Who will you be leading?

    The Software Product Manger role directly and indirectly lead Teams, SME's, Developers, etc. to implement objectives, develop strategies, and execute on the planned roadmaps.

    What skills/qualifications do you need?

    Education

    Bachelor's degree

    Work Experience

    4+ years of related experience with desired specific assigned software, configuration, and implementation of features
    Experience influencing key stakeholders and leading complex initiatives
    Experience working in an Agile environment preferred
    Experience working in financial services and /or banking preferred

    Certifications (preferred)

    SAFe certification (SAFe for Teams, etc.)
