    This is a 13-week contract position.

    The shift will be 12 hours, with hours from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, and includes a rotation schedule based on department needs.

    Job Description

    We are seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing care and support to patients ranging from neonates to adults.

    Responsibilities include utilizing specialized respiratory equipment and following established protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

    Responsibilities

    Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures to patients

    Utilize advanced respiratory equipment such as Puritan Bennett 980, 840, and LTV1200

    Provide support in the nursery and emergency room as needed

    Document patient care accurately in the EPIC system

    Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care

    Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

    Minimum of 1 year clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist

    Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; NRP certification preferred

    Experience with EPIC documentation system within the past 2 years is required

    Flexible with scheduling, including working every other weekend

    Experience with the neonatal/pediatric population is a plus
