    Job Description: MRI Technologist

    We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Providence Milwaukie Hospital. As an MRI Technologist, you will perform Magnetic Resonance examinations according to physician orders, utilizing sophisticated MRI equipment and taking into account individual patient special or age-related needs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform MRI examinations safely and effectively, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
    • Utilize knowledge and judgment in regard to imaging factors, imaging technique, and patient treatment needed to produce optimal images.
    • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient exams and results.

    Requirements:

    • Educational degree to meet certification, license, or registration requirement upon hire.
    • Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist License upon hire.
    • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
    • Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists.
