    Project Engineer

    Why This is an Exciting Role:

    As a Project Engineer at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics you will be responsible for support implementation of Agile processes and act as the Scrum Master and interface between the technical team and the Control Account Managers (CAMs). As such, you will coordinate and conduct sprint planning sessions with the technical team to identify sprint objectives and divide tasks and responsibilities. Coordinate and conduct daily standup meetings with the technical teams during Agile Sprint periods to track status and document issues/roadblocks and help needed. Coordinate and conduct sprint retrospective meetings to assess previous sprint execution and identify action items to improve the sprint process. Coordinate sprint activity with the appropriate CAMs to ensure Earned Value Management (EVM) accuracy and ensure the budget is aligned with the proposed plan.

    Responsibilities:

    In this role, you will directly support the System Test & Evaluation team by performing a variety of Cost Account Management efforts and financial analysis.You will be working directly with leadership across the program and providingupdates and status on Earned Value Management in addition to workforce administration, recruiting, and people planning and development. The specific tasks associated with this position are:

    • Develop, review, analyze and maintain cost and/or schedule performance measurement baselines, including earned value, and variance analyses and communicates cost and/or schedule trends
    • Initiate assignments and lead integration and analysis of resource forecasts and/or Estimates at Completion (EACs) for control accounts and budgets
    • Identify performance metrics and provide data for management review and tracking performance to plan
    • Respond to changes to Statement of Work (SOW), assess the impact and negotiate proposed changes to determine modifications to the deliverables, resources, costs and schedules
    • Develop plans for long-range strategies, organizational goals, objectives, and initiatives
    • Openly communicate and collaborate across engineering and non-engineering functions

    Experience and Qualifications:

    To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

    Required Education and Years of Experience:

    • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD +4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

    Required Qualifications: ​

    • Experience in the area of Earned Value Management
    • Experience with analysis of resource forecasts and/or EACs for control accounts and budget
    • Experience with scheduling, resource loading and variance analysis

    Desired Qualifications: ​

    • Experience with the Ballistic Missile Defense System, Ground-based Midcourse Defense program and/or the Missile Defense Agency
    • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across multiple engineering functions and teams
    • Familiarity with resource loading and budgeting

    Telework Availability: 100% On-site

    This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. ( An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start is required.)

    This position requires clearing a background check and an enhanced Personal Conflict of Interest (PCI) requirements as a condition for employment.

    Summary Pay Range:

    Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

    $95,000 - $169,000
