POSITION SUMMARY:
DISTRICT 2 is seeking an Assistant District Attorney for the Washita County Office to perform a variety of professional duties, specifically: prosecution of criminal offenses, including misdemeanors and felonies; handling of juvenile cases, including neglect, delinquency and child in need of supervision cases; providing legal services related to county government operations; and other duties assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Experience is not required, will consider newly licensed attorneys and those sitting for the February and July bar exams.
Juris Doctorate from accredited law school.
Admitted to and in good standing with Oklahoma Bar Association.
Preference to live within one of the counties in District 2 (Beckham, Custer, Washita, Roger Mills and Ellis Counties) within a reasonable period of time of employment.
