    JOB SUMMARY

    Responsible for running the day-to-day requirements of the Wildhorse Foundation, including but not limited to preparation and coordination of grant proposals, preparation and facilitation of Board meetings, annual reporting, and regular correspondence with grantees. Responsible for community outreach and facilitating the public relations strategy of the Wildhorse Foundation.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    1. Ensure exceptional customer service standards are exhibited for internal and external guests through professional, prompt, efficient, and friendly service.
    2. Evaluate incoming grant applications to make recommendations to the Wildhorse Foundation Board.
    3. Prepare for quarterly Board meetings, including agenda, packets, securing room, F&B planning, and taking minutes.
    4. Provides annual Governor report and facilitates annual Foundation luncheon.
    5. Takes initiative, work successfully independently as well as part of a marketing team.
    6. Accountable for budgets and purchase requests.
    7. Ensures post-award duties are completed in a timely manner, including reports to CTUIR Finance.
    8. Tracks grants and grantees requests in the Foundation software (Gifts).
    9. Understands and complies with Foundation bylaws.
    10. Works directly with the Public Relations Manager to develop and execute PR strategies, including media communications, press releases, and presentations to organizations.
    11. Maintain timely follow-through and communications on all Foundation and Marketing timelines
    12. Comply with regulatory laws, PP&P, department policy and procedures, safety codes, etc.
    13. Keep PR Manager apprised of operations and immediately report any unusual situations.
    14. Support active and potential grantees program staff in fielding and researching requests.
    15. Ability to effectively prioritize, multi-task and manage time to support the work of various functions.
    16. A positive, proactive attitude with a high level of flexibility.
    17. Promote a clean, safe, and healthy work environment for employees and guests. Promptly report all concerns to the manager.
    18. Other related duties as needed or directed.

    SIGNATORY ABILITY:
    1. Foundation budget, in compliance with CTUIR Fiscal Management Policies
    ACCESS TO SENSITIVE AREAS:

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
    1. Two (2) years of marketing, public relations, nonprofit experience, or a combination of these.
    2. Demonstrate computer literacy with word processing, spreadsheets, internet and email systems.
    3. Public Speaking experience.
    4. High School Diploma or GED
    5. Effective communication skills - verbally able to provide instruction, respond to questions, and have exceptional interpersonal skills and abilities.
    6. Self- directed worker with strong attention to details
    7. Physically requires: Able to sit for long periods at a computer station with repetitive motion of wrists, hands and fingers.
    8. Excellent personal appearance and hygiene habits.
    9. Requires a High Security Gaming License clearance.
    10. Must be at least 21 years of age.
