- Safely and efficiently assist in manual labor tasks as directed by site supervision
- Clean and prepare construction sites to remove hazards
- Maintain company equipment and materials properly
- Excavate, backfill, compact, and level earth to specifications
- Load and unload trucks, haul materials, and operate tools
- Flag traffic near work zones
- Follow safety guidelines and company's safety program
- Perform other assigned labor duties
- Effective communication and teamwork
- Willingness to learn and develop skills
- Dedication, strong work ethic, and positive attitude
- Ability to adapt and work well with different personalities
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Prior construction experience preferred
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
- Valid state driver's license
- Participation in regulatory trainings such as First Aid/CPR, OSHA 10, Flagging, etc
- Travel out of town as needed
- Physical strength, coordination, and stamina required
- Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds
- Work in all weather conditions and various terrains
- Stand, walk, bend, and climb inclines during shifts
- Weekend and night work availability
