    Overview:

    The Virtual Event Specialist II is responsible for the management of all logistics and execution for virtual and hybrid conferences. This person will play a lead role in coordinating cross- functional teams to execute on all the various pieces of the virtual/hybrid conference experience and manage the expense budgets for the events.?The position requires a strong, but empathetic leader who can efficiently progress multiple projects and drive effective collaboration between teams.? This person should be able think operationally, creatively and communicate impactfully in order to continuously provide improved and enhanced experiences for ISACAs virtual event attendees.

    Responsibilities:

    Hybrid and Virtual Conferences

    • Management and program oversight of all virtual and hybrid conferences including budgets, planning, programming, experiences and execution. This includes but is not limited to scheduling and leading conference planning meetings, management of the event dashboard, status reports, creation of the project schedule and post event survey data and live day oversight.
    • Management of marketing communications, website updates and video requests to support all virtual programs. Includes the creation and oversight of virtual platform and event supporting docs: platform guide, graphic manifest, virtual schedule at a glance, FAQs, CPE doc, event run of show and emcee support.
    • Management of virtual live day execution to include but not limited to developing program show flow, virtual producer staff assignments, virtual networking breaks, onsite management of production team recordings and streaming.
    • Pre-show event prep/proofing/testing on virtual platforms.
    • Virtual Producer backup and live day support.

    CPE On Demand

    • Works with Senior Manager, Event Development on the CPE on-demand bundle planning, marketing and execution with cross-department stakeholders.
    • Virtual lead with AV partner and RFP process for hybrid/virtual conference and CPE on-demand production solutions, to include onsite management.

    Member expansion and Chapter Toolkits

    • Works with the Senior Manager, Event Development and Membership team to support the development of tools and resources for ISACA Chapters to utilize for their own virtual events.

    Vendor Management

    • Management of engagement tools & vendor budgets & music licenses
      Cross team collaboration to provide recommendations on best use of virtual tools and platforms.

    Required Field of Study:
    N/A

    Minimum Experience Required:

    • 3 years of experience of virtual event experience
    • vent management for functions over 300 attendees
    • Experience working webinars and/or virtual events
    • Development/execution of event experiences & vendor management

    Competencies/Skills Required:

    Preferred Field of Study:
    BS, BA, Hospitality, Marketing and/or communications

    Preferred Experience:

    • 5 years virtual event experience
    • Experience working with colleagues and/or clients outside the US
    • Project management
    • Association experience
    • Jira, Salesforce, Microsoft Office & Teams knowledge
    • Virtual platform knowledge, specifically ON24
