- Supervise and participate in the month-end closing process, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Prepare and/or review complex journal entries, including accruals, adjustments, and account reconciliations.
- Analyze financial results and prepare variance reports for management review.
- Supervise the Accounts Receivable Clerk, Accounts Payable Clerk, and Cost Accountant.
- Provide training, guidance, and regular feedback to support their accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Controller to prepare financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Assist with the generation of reports for external auditors and banks.
- Work closely with the Cost Accountant to ensure accurate inventory tracking, valuation, and cost reporting.
- Review inventory reserves and analyze inventory obsolescence provisions.
- Analyze current accounting processes and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Implement process improvements, working with the team and the Controller.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a managerial accounting role, preferably in a wholesale, distribution or manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in supervising and training accounting staff.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and internal controls.
- Proficient in accounting software, especially NetSuite, and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The Accounting Manager will be actively involved within the accounting department of DMA Industries, LLC as the company experiences continued growth. The position oversees the day-to-day operations of the accounting department and ensuring accurate financial reporting. You will play a key role in maintaining internal controls, supervising staff, and collaborating with various departments to achieve financial goals.
