    Description

    The Application Administrator is responsible for the efficient and accurate handling of Penn-Mar's application-related support tickets and the creation, modification, and termination of application-based user accounts. Assists with the development, implementation, and administration of Penn-Mar's application portfolio and data integration platform. Develops process and application documentation, creates end-user training materials, and assists the Systems Analyst with business application and data integration tasks while focused on the goal of providing high-level support and training to staff so they can provide better services for the people we support.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    Technical Support

    • Provides tier-1 support for all business applications and escalates appropriate tier-2 tickets to the Application Manager in a timely manner.
    • Creates, manages, and terminates application-based user accounts.
    • Supports new hire onboarding and orientation processes as assigned.
    Application Administration
    • Assists with the design, deployment, enhancement, and maintenance of the company application portfolio.
    • Performs application administration to include user administration, access control, and maintenance.
    • Assists with the implementation of additional application modules and functionality.
    • Assists with the documentation of business workflows and processes.
    • Creates application documentation, tip sheets, and end-user training as assigned.
    • Assists with application-related projects and tasks as assigned
    • Performs related duties as assigned
    Security
    • Assists with the implementation and support of company-wide security systems and initiatives.
    • Implements system and end-user permissions and access in adherence with company standards and approvals.
    Compliance
    • Completes HIPAA compliance processes, procedures, and controls as assigned.
    • Contributes input into IT policies, controls, and procedures
    Education/Experience:
    • AA degree or equivalent related experience in information technology, computer science, or similar plus 2+ years of related experience required;
    • Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science degree preferred
    Required Skills/Abilities:
    • Demonstrated proficiency with business applications required.
    • Experience providing end-user support services and using Helpdesk applications is required.
    • Experience with the following applications preferred: UKG/Ready, Blackbaud FE and RENXT, MITC or CIMS Case Management applications, and/or Maryland's LTSS Platform.
    • Ability to communicate and work effectively with the public, staff, and consumers required.
    • Experience in social or human services and the non-profit sector preferred.
    • Ability to communicate and work effectively with the stakeholders and team members at all levels of the organization as well as vendors and consultants required.
    • Ability to handle multiple priorities and effectively prioritize tasks.
    • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills required.
