Hybrid 3 days onsite (Springfield MA or Boston MA)

W2 Contract + Benefits

Insurance/Financial Services Industry

Responsibilities:

Oversee, direct, and strategize major complex projects, each involving multiple project teams.
Handle day-to-day execution, management, and reporting, ensuring efficient resource allocation, cost management, and adherence to scope and deadlines.
Plan, develop, and implement business projects, recommending strategies, actions, and alternatives for informed decision-making.
Create and maintain detailed project estimates, work plans, resource plans, and scope controls, ensuring on-time, within-budget, and on-target deliverables.
Communicate any proposed changes in activities, schedules, costs, benefits, or impacts to project sponsors and manage approved changes.
Manage vendor relationships and contractual obligations.
Identify, document, assign, and track project issues to resolution.
Confirm project objectives, verify, and document results for formal acceptance by the project sponsor.

Required Qualifications:

PMP certification or equivalent.
Bachelor's Degree or 8+ years of related work experience.
3-5 years of experience in the financial services/insurance industry.
4+ years of IT experience managing large programs or portfolios.
2+ years of experience in vendor management, overseeing vendor deliverables.
Strong financial acumen with experience managing program/portfolio budgets.
Proficiency with technology tools such as MS Office, Outlook, and O365.
Ability to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Proficiency with JIRA.
Experience with budget management and creating Cost Benefit Analyses (CBAs).
