Overview:

We are seeking a Data Analyst to support the United States Air Force in executing its strategic objectives by utilizing data analytics to assist in mission planning, analysis, and decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Collection and Preparation:
Collect and compile data from various Air Force systems, databases, and external sources.
Clean, validate, and organize data to ensure its quality, accuracy, and completeness.
Identify and resolve data discrepancies, missing values, and anomalies.

Data Analysis:
Conduct statistical, quantitative, and qualitative analysis to uncover insights, trends, and patterns.
Apply various data analytics techniques (e.g., machine learning, data mining) to support mission objectives.
Develop and maintain key performance indicators, metrics, and dashboards to monitor Air Force operations and performance.

Reporting and Visualization:
Create comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Design and implement data visualization tools (e.g., charts, graphs, heat maps) to aid in data interpretation and decision-making.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with Air Force personnel, other data analysts, and external partners to identify data needs and deliver actionable insights.

Provide recommendations and insights to support Air Force strategic planning, budget allocation, resource optimization, and mission execution.

Continuous Improvement:
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, tools, and technologies in data analytics.
Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and expertise.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:
Active Top Secret Security Clearance
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in data analysis or a similar role.
Proficiency in data analysis software and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, or similar.
Strong knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Preferred

Qualifications:
Experience working with military or government organizations.

Familiarity with Air Force missions, operations, and systems
